I want to take this opportunity to send kudos to the Sikes Senter Mall (Wichita Falls, Texas) Security Officers. The first thing that caught my attention to this team was the hats! They're sporting the traditional 8-point hats worn in the days before the "tacky" baseball caps became popular for police and security officers.
My local police department tried the ballcaps back in the early 1980s. They abandoned them after a few years. Do you know why? Someone realized that they were "tacky"! Guess what? They're still "tacky"!
These men and women certainly outshine local law enforcement officers who spend untold dollars on all that fancy equipment only to top it off with a $10 ball cap!
The Sikes Senter officers look sharp as they patrol their beat, up and down the mall, and in and out of businesses. Keep up the good work and may your boss never downgrade you with those awful ball caps!
Have your local cops "tackified" themselves with those silly ball caps?
